Singer-Actress-Dancer-Entrepreneur JENNIFER LOPEZ will perform one night only at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena next week on November 26, 2012. VIP tickets which costs P25,840 each are reportedly sold-out. The most affordable ticket – General Admission – costs P2,590.

The Manila Concert is part of Ms J.Lo’s “Dance Again World Tour,” which started last June 14 in Panama, then proceeded to the South American countries of Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. The European leg covered about 29 performances in 27 venues. Aside from Manila, the Asian leg also includes Dubai, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. The World Tour wraps up with 2 performances on December 21 and 22 in Puerto Rico, the birthplace of her parents.

At 43 years of age, Miss J.Lo has “been there” and has “done that” and more. Like most success stories, she started small before hitting the bigtime. Born in the Bronx, New York, she managed to conquer Manhattan and finally Hollywood.

She started acting in the theater before she started doing movies, the first of which was in a low-budget film in 1986 (“My Little Girl”). A few years later, she worked as a back-up dancer for the American boy-band New Kids On The Block.

Playing the title role in “Selena” in 1996 gave this multi-talented lady her big break. (Selena was the Mexican-American singer who gave us the bestselling “Dreaming of You.” She was murdered in 1995 by the President of her fan club over money matters.) Jennifer Lopez also starred in the suspense-thriller “Anaconda” and in romantic comedies like “The Wedding Planner” and “Maid in Manhattan.”

Aside from being a singer and an actor, J.Lo is also a vastly successful entrepreneur – she has her own line of fragrances – Glow by J.Lo – and her own clothing line – J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez.

J.Lo was a judge on “Americal Idol” during its 10th and 11th seasons (2011 and 2012). She replaced Ellen DeGeneres who sat for one season only.

She is married to Marc Anthony, a multi-awarded Latin American singer. They have twins, a boy (Maximilian David) and a girl (Emme Maribel).
